Crazy about spoons

This was an interesting brief to say the least. We were introduced to variety of different terms and methods of learning that enabled us to decide/ customise the vague brief we were given.

I decided to go with the idea of making spoons for children as I found it to be quite simple. All I needed was some creativity as well as a feedback group which thankfully, I possessed.

The next step was to decide on what specific age fitted the ‘children’ age group. I decided to go with 5+ as they are generally the age group which are young enough, but can also eat independently. It’s no point in designing spoons for children that aren’t going to use it.

bright colours and imaginative shapes were a must. I wanted a child to sort of develop a relationship with this item so that they, not only enjoy using it but can also eat properly which I’m sure is a top priority on a parents mind.
